What is Individual Psychotherapy (video consultation)
These are regular one-to-one online sessions with a psychotherapist. Therapy helps you understand emotions and behaviors, cope with stress, and build lasting changes in daily life. The video format is convenient and effective—you can join from a safe, private space.
Who it is for
- For people experiencing low mood, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life crises, insomnia, burnout, or low self-esteem.
- For anyone who wants to improve emotion regulation, change habits, or complement psychiatric treatment.
How to book a video consultation
- Select a convenient date and click “Reserve”.
- Go to your cart, choose a payment method, and enter your contact details and email address – you will receive a purchase confirmation and a link for the video call there.
- Once the payment is processed, you will receive an email confirmation with further instructions.
- On the day of the consultation, click the received link, which will activate shortly before the session begins.
- Log in to the video consultation by entering your patient card number (MRN) and password for the full version of Damian Online, or your PESEL number or another identity document.
How to prepare
- Ensure a quiet, private space, stable internet, and a working camera and microphone.
- Prepare a short list of topics/goals you want to discuss.
- Use headphones for comfort and privacy; join 5–10 minutes early to test your setup.
- If you take medication or had prior therapy, keep basic details at hand.
What the consultation looks like
- In the first meetings you define goals, agree on the working arrangement (therapy contract), and set session frequency.
- The therapist uses methods suited to your needs (e.g., cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, ACT, schema-informed, or other approaches).
- During sessions you address current difficulties and learn practical techniques (e.g., emotion regulation, working with thoughts, communication). Brief “home practice” may be suggested.
- Progress is reviewed regularly; the plan is adjusted if needed.
Additional information
- Online psychotherapy is confidential; your data are protected under GDPR.
- This service is not for emergencies or life-threatening situations. In a crisis, call 112 or go to the emergency department.
- Therapy frequency and length depend on goals and progress; most often 1 session per week.
- Rescheduling or canceling is possible according to the booking policy.
- If technical issues occur, try reconnecting or use a different device/browser.
