What is a Neuropsychological Assessment – interview (video consultation)
This is the first online meeting with a neuropsychologist. During the conversation, the specialist collects information about your well-being, memory, attention, mood, and daily functioning. Based on this, they plan further diagnostics or provide initial recommendations.
Who it is for
- For adults who notice difficulties with memory, attention, planning, or emotional regulation.
- For people after head injury, stroke, COVID-19, or with chronic conditions that may affect cognitive functions.
- For those referred by a physician or self-referring for an initial evaluation.
How to book a video consultation
- Select a convenient date and click “Reserve”.
- Go to your cart, choose a payment method, and enter your contact details and email address – you will receive a purchase confirmation and a link for the video call there.
- Once the payment is processed, you will receive an email confirmation with further instructions.
- On the day of the consultation, click the received link, which will activate shortly before the session begins.
- Log in to the video consultation by entering your patient card number (MRN) and password for the full version of Damian Online, or your PESEL number or another identity document.
How to prepare
- Choose a quiet, well-lit place with a stable internet connection and a working camera.
- Have your ID and any previous medical records ready (if available).
- Prepare a list of current medications, coexisting conditions, and key symptoms (since when, in what situations).
- Use headphones with a microphone; join 10 minutes earlier to check your setup.
What the consultation looks like
- Duration: typically 45–60 minutes.
- At the start we will confirm your identity and consent for online consultation.
- The specialist conducts a detailed interview about cognitive functioning, emotions, sleep, work/study, and health history.
- Brief screening tasks may be used (e.g., memory or attention questions) tailored to the online format.
- At the end you will receive an initial summary, recommendations, and—if needed—a plan for further in-person testing.
Additional information
- The video consultation is part of the diagnostic process and does not replace a full, in-person neuropsychological test battery.
- This service is not for emergencies. In a health crisis, call the emergency number 112.
- If you have significant hearing, vision, or speech difficulties, let us know in advance—we will adapt the format or suggest an in-person visit.
- Rescheduling is possible according to the booking rules.
- Your data are protected in line with GDPR; after the visit you may receive a brief summary of recommendations.
